Black women get discriminated against for their hair and are more likely to lose their job because of it.

Dove and the Crown Coalition have partnered up to make hair discrimination illegal nationwide with the CROWN Act.

 

CROWN stands for Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair.

​

It is currently only illegal in seven states. 

​

This campaign will raise awareness and garner signatures for Dove's CROWN Act to be passed nationwide.  

​

Your hair does not define you.​

We partnered up with Black creatives to take pictures of diverse people to flood Google's algorithm. Each image contained a link to the Crown Act as well as credit to its photographer.
